When Martin came to our class to critique he said that I had all of the right ingredients for a good album cover, but needed to work on arranging them in the right way. This is what drove me to use the same elements as my original designs, but really work on integrating the type and thinking about the relationships between the elements.
I worked to give each element a purpose that made sense. This is a response to the sliced figure, upside down piano, and unorganized type on my PoMo design which Martin said didn't really make any sense or have any visual logic.
