The objective of this project is to choose an object and render it's basic form using flat color, being conscious of background color and figure ground relationship. This is version one, it's denotative. The second version uses the same object but juxtaposes it next to a word that will create a new, associative meaning. Each poster will be tabloid size (11x17).

vans, personally, speak of outdoors in on an adventure, signifies that
the summer you have a lot of free time

if you wear vans, then you will be more laid back
and have enough free time to go wander around and
go on fun adventures
